What terrible news. Joy was a true personification of her name, "Joy!!" Joy with her quiet graceful presence conveyed God's love to all and Joy's seamstressing skills were unmatched and I'm sure they will be terribly missed by the Mother's Union and all. Our love, thoughts, and prayers are with you and all the brothers and sisters of Lui. Joy will live on forever in our joyous memories of our visit to Lui.

We are very saddened by this news.  Joy was a wonderful, person, and all of us who met her remember her with affection.  We pray for her soul now to be with her Lord in happiness in heaven.

Dear Lillian,

This news took my breath away.  Joy was so energetic and joyful.  I know she will be missed  by the village of Lui.  She made such an impression on both me and Tim.  You and all of Lui are in our prayers.

I am so sorry to hear this news. She was so gifted and kind. I am so grateful for her presence in the sewing group on my visit and for her ministry in Lui. My prayers are with you.

Dear Lillian and the Mothers' Union in Lui,

Dan and and I are so sorry to hear about Joy Sister's death.  Joy was such a  beautiful peaceful presence around Lui and her gift with the peddle sewing machine was a sight to see. Know that we will lift her up in prayer tomorrow in church.

Give rest, O Christ, to your servant Joy with your saints, where sorrow and pain are no more, neither sighing, but life everlasting.

Oh, Lillian, I'm so sorry to hear this.  My heart is broken too.  She was a very special part of my trip to Lui and I know how much she'll be missed.  I still remember her smile and her take-charge, can-do attitude.  May she rest in peace and rise in glory.
