Tim and I walked in our front door in Kirksville a few hours ago. It was grand to be home. After being away and traveling so many days, our home looks good and comfortable. Now as I read the recent blogs from Team 2, I realize my heart is still in Lui. I am searching the blogs and photos for the friends we made, the sights that had become so familiar and the mention of all we are missing. For many days Lui was home, its people were our extended family and our team members were our immediate family. The transition to the old normal will be slow.
The Moru people are amazing in many ways. However their most impressive quality is their unconditional acceptance of us. They live the hope, faith and love of God daily. I am blessed to have been with them.
