With a joy and fellowship filled 4 weeks time with the Diocese of Lui's new bishop Stephen Dokolo and his wife Lillian just concluded, diocesan members were stunned to read this past weekend's letter from Archbishop Daniel Deng Bull, primate of the Episcopal Church of Sudan.

Bon Voyage

Bishop Stephen and Lillian got off just fine from Lambert, arrived at Dulles, and are safely in the care of the Bishop David and his wife Kay in Virginia for the night. They'll return the Dokolos to Dulles tomorrow morning for the trip to Juba. We had very nice noonday prayers with an impressive number of friends to see them off.

Having had Stephen and Lillian at our house for the month, I'm very aware of how much planning, coordination, transportation, hospitality, and…

Thanks Friends

Thank you to all my friends in Missouri for being so welcoming when I visited for your Diocesan Convention a couple of weeks ago.  It was lovely to see you all again and of course to see and chat with Bishop Stephen and Lillian.   You are wonderful partners to us in Blackmore Vale as well as to Lui.
