Hello all, it has been a while since I have posted on this blog. You will hear from me and others fairly often for the next 6 or 7 weeks. After some worries concerning the recent political events in South Sudan we have determined that the mission trip scheduled for August is a GO. Team One will be leaving from the US and the UK on August 11 and 12 respectively. Team Two will leave from the US and Sweden on August 20.

On Tuesday, we heard news that President Salva Kiir Mayardit has sacked his Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny and the SPLM Secretary General Pagan Amoun. Bishop Stephen just rang from Lui to ask me to pass on to you all the bad news that thieves broke into the Diocesan Office last night, and stole the main computer server, one computer, a laptop with a lot of data on it and two screens.
