Marie, my area of expertise is preservation of books/documents. It seems that boric acid scattered around the building perimeter can discourage termites and many other insect pests.  I can look into this more closely if you think that would be helpful. 

Do you think the Moru could obtain boric acid anywhere?  (BTW, it is NOT harmful to humans! It's even safe to use in kitchens.)

Yes they sell books - mostly moru bibles and Canon Morris is in charge. But they have a problem that termites now have entered the book shop and treatens to eat and damage the books

This is the Church book shop that was built in the fifties and in front you have Lillian - first lady of Lui

I can't make out the lettering on the building in the background.  What is this structure?  And who's the woman in the photo?
